Story in Tampa Newspaper
Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????
Think about it.
..

All I have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS?
I celebrate Christmas, but because it isn't celebrated by everyone, we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings. It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday? We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that.
This says it all!

This is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? Read on, please!

IMMIGRANTS,
NOT AMERICANS,
MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor
do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

It is Time for America to Speak up.

I don't like america but this is really cool b/c it was a 14 year old kid and he is fighting for what he belives MAJOR PROPES FOR HIM!

Hey this is my autobiography so yeah i had to rite it 4 creative writing so yeah

AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Ethan Cashen was born on December 17th, 1990 in Fort Worth, Texas, in the United States of America.  He was born at 12:34 A.M. in Cooks Children’s Hospital.  His mothers name is Deanna Carol (Lynch) Cashen and his fathers name is Dennis Kelly Cashen.  His father is 100% Irish heritage.  His mother is 50% Irish and 50% Cherokee.  He is a 75% Irish and 25% Cherokee boy.  He was the second boy his mother had.  His older brother Van Michael Cashen was born on August 26th, 1988.  He was also born in Fort Worth.  At an early age his parents knew he was special because he did not like lullabies or nursery rimes.  One day while he was crying his father put on a Clash album started to sing along with it.  When the song was over Ethan had stopped crying and was trying to sing it.  Of course it was gibberish, but his father was so happy he found a way to make him stop crying.  After that when his mother tried to put him to sleep with a lullaby his father would take him, sit down, and put on the record and only play one song.  That song was Death or Glory by The Clash.  To this day it still puts him to sleep when he is restless.  Ethan’s first steps were on July 8 1991 and his first word was “ma ma” on July 17th, 1991.  On July 18th, 1995 Ethan had a new little brother. His name is Aaron Nicolas Cashen.  Ethan attended the YMCA before Pre School.  Ethan hated the YMCA; he would chase his dad down the hall and to his car so he wouldn’t leave him.  Ethan attended all 7 years of Elementary school in Meadowbrook Elementary School.  He went to Pre K when he was 5.  He was the worst kid in the class.  He would never obey and he even broke a window right in front of the teacher.  His actions changed once he got into Kindergarten.  He started to like girls and got his first kiss in kindergarten.  In First grade he was a good student. In Second grade he only got one infraction.  In Third grade he got 3 or 4 from the P.E. couch.  In Forth Grade he got one for jumping out of the top of a tree and his usual 3 or 4 for the P.E. couch.  In Fifth grade he received his first U in citizenship on his report card and got 7 infractions.  He then decided to attend William James Middle School.  In his 6th grade year he got only one infraction.  In 7th grade is when Ethan decided that the government was corrupt and the world and especially America was wrong.  So he did what he did best all along.  He began to rebel and that ended him up in a mess of trouble.  He was either suspended or in In-House suspension for close to half of the year.  He had a teacher named Ms. Rinker that gave him an infraction almost every day.  This is when he made a friend named Isaac Johnson.  Ethan and Isaac were a pair.  They got in trouble so much it wasn’t even funny to Ethan anymore, but Isaac reminded him of the laughs they shared together and Ethan found it funny again.  In the 8th grade Isaac transferred to McLean Middle School in the first 4 weeks of school.  Ethan was devastated.  And to add on to the devastation his father became very sick and had to get his kidneys taken out and was put on the transplant donor list.  He didn’t know what to do or anyone to get in to trouble with.  So Ethan did the best he could repealing and trying to make all the teachers hate him.  Isaac dropped out of McLean and is now home schooling himself.  Ethan has gotten 8 infractions and this year and isn’t going to stop anytime soon.  On March 3, 2005 his father had a kidney transplant and his body is rejecting it.  The doctors are giving him a drug that will make him have a fever and shake uncontrollably.  The drug has never not worked so his father’s new kidney will work perfectly when the drug kicks in and finishes.  Today Ethan is planning on living in a loft on the roof of his favorite restaurant Benito’s.  He has no plans for high school and is probably going to drop out and is not going to college.
